SO MUCH FOR CONSISTENCY

So much for consistency. The new Apple Watch & Apple Pay have gone in two completely different directions. They are not products that are a part of each other but do you think there be some consistency between their logos? The logos will never be placed next to one another and each logo is branded separately for its own product. Yes, the Apple icon is in every logo, but do you think there should be some constancy in the typography? The brand is continually evolving so older logos won't comply with the same rules until they are updated.
